It would be very convenient to scan bar code and have nutrition information come up with HMP data if available or manufacturer's info if not in HMP.

I am going to move this to planned, with the note that instead of bar code it will just be camera search. Bar codes change too often to maintain that size of database and accuracy matters in our community so we are investing in the technology to search foods with the camera instead.
